Laurie Gilmer and her team are AMAZING. This was our 3rd home purchase/sale with her, and I wouldn't use anyone else in the Portland area. Laurie is responsive, honest, professional, organized AND a really nice person; she makes selling a home alot less stressful than it would be otherwise. Additionally, her network (stagers, contractors, inspectors, pest control, etc.) Are just as friendly and professional as Laurie. I can be a demanding client, but Laurie continues to Exceed my expectations EVERY time I work with her. I wish nothing but the best for Laurie and team; they are fantastic at what they do.

We began working with Laurie as first time home buyers in the fall. We didn’t know anything about buying a house, what to look for in the home, the risks involved with different properties, etc.
Laurie was extremely patient, listening to what we wanted and needed. She kept us on track. She didn’t push us toward anything we didn’t want, but she also helped us stay grounded and realistic. We learned a lot in working with her, and even as our search stretched on, she was 100% committed. She and her team always communicated promptly. When we had questions or concerns about homes, she was quick to reach out to the selling agent and advocate for us.
When we found our home, she put together an offer quickly and coached us through the process. While in escrow, we had a bad experience with the mortgage company’s appraisal. It was wildly off base. Laurie got the appraisal company to take another look and worked with the seller’s agent to make sure the appraisers were working off of accurate information. Even with that hiccup, we closed on schedule. We have been in our home for a week now and could not he happier with where we ended up and how we got here. I believe we may have either settled on something we didn’t love or given up on the search if it weren’t for Laurie. Thank you!

I wish I could give this woman more than five stars. There's not a doubt in my mind that without Laurie on our side, we would not have our house. She went far beyond the call of duty every step of the way. We were moving to Portland from out of state and didn't even know which neighborhood we wanted to live in. As first time home buyers, Laurie took the time to really find out what we needed in a house and to break down what can certainly be called a daunting process. We decided to come for an exploratory day and Laurie set up 16 houses for us to look at. Just that morning, a house came down in price into our range and she managed to set up a last minute viewing for us. It was the last house we saw and it blew everything else out of the water. We LOVED it and Laurie said "I'm going to get you this house." And boy did she. There was another bidder and Laurie helped us figure out what we needed to make a competitive offer. Then she went to present it in person! And who could say no to this woman? But it didn't stop with her getting us the house. As we lived out of state, Laurie oversaw the whole escrow process- recommending our mortgage broker (who we love), scheduling and overseeing the inspector and various tradespeople coming to and repairing the house, checking herself to make sure everything was done properly (and re-scheduling appointments when it wasn't), checking in with us and taking the time to answer any and all of our questions, the list goes on.
