Here are a few pre-listing commandments - and some before and after photos to show how big a difference staging (and our favorite real estate photographer) can make!

First Commandment: Thou Shalt Repair

We all have one or two little repairs on our to-do list we never quite get around to. That’s why we do a pre-listing walkthrough with our sellers to make a list of any and all needed preparations for listing. Usually, that list includes some minor repairs and some fresh paint to get your house looking its loveliest!

Second Commandment: Thou Shalt Clean

Even the cleanest house can benefit from a little extra TLC (tender loving cleaning) before listing day rolls around. Cleaning is essential to getting your house ready to sell. You can do it yourself or you can hire someone else, but you have to make it sparkle! Pro tip: don’t forget the windows!

Third Commandment: Thou Shalt Stage

Staged homes sell faster and for more money. In some cases, you can stage your home with your own furniture (get ready to tidy up!), but for many sellers professional staging makes the most sense. We’ll help you determine the best fit for your situation and priorities.
